Winding All the Way Down in LONDON TOWN

Friday evening. I think there’s not so much more to say about this trip. Actually there’s much more about Greenland and Norway and the cousins and the culture but it’s hard to concentrate after the hard work of touristing all day so all of that must wait until I’m home.

Today both Teresa and I ran out of energy and curiosity—and money seems to be disappearing rather quickly as well. Definitely time to come home. Here’s the day in a sentence: nice pub lunch; took lots of photos at Trafalgar Square; walked around parliament, Big Ben, etc.; it rained; okay high tea (the budget version); and now we’re home for the night. Teresa seems as anxious to veg out as me—hopefully it not that’s she bored to death—although after a month with her grandmother who could blame her.

We’re lucky travelers—all is well and the world is wide and wonderful. And now we want to come home.

Here are a series of tiny albums from today.

PUB LUNCHES ARE THE BEST.

  1. Your photos have done it…..captured the flavor of the day. Can’t ask for any better than that. I think London has to go back on the list. Too much list, not enough time. At least you are having a really good try at it.
