Frogner Park, OSLO, NORWAY

Sorry this post is out of order but everything is getting posted when I have a chance to organize the photos and think about the experience and be sure I get it in the blog-book to come.
Frogner Park is the most wonderfully surreal and lushly gorgeous of any sculpture I’ve experienced. It’s one of my favorite places in Norway and in the world. One more time for your viewing pleasure…

20150814_195118_001Frogner Park, site of a massive display of Gustav Vigeland’s sculpture, is a favorite of mine and probably of most visitors. It’s a place of powerful humans of all ages and sizes forever linked. The big forms could be monsters, there are so many and they’re crowded about you almost threateningly. But they’re just humans, neither particularly friendly or unfriendly, just humans connecting, interacting.

More pictures from the park.

  1. I very much like the iceberg rolling over certain parts of the Republican convention……the zen of icebergs…sounds nice. I will look at the beautiful blue ice and hope for the best
